The Tioga River valley in Pennsylvania

The Tioga River is a tributary of the Chemung River located in New York and Pennsylvania. It is approximately 55 miles long and it drains a region of ridges in the northern Allegheny Plateau in the watershed of the Susquehanna River.

The river starts in the mountains in western Bradford County, PA and flows southwest into Tioga County, PA. Then it turns north, going throught the Tioga State Forest then through the Tioga Reservoir, receives Crooked Creek from the west, then crosses into Steuben County in New York.
