An artist's rendition of the New Student Life Center
FLCC has recently begun construction on a major addition which will be the New Student Life Center and the college's first ever auditorium, not including the CMAC. The new Student Life Center will be a Green Building, meaning it will be environmentally friendly. The roof, which will be layered withen earthen materials to soak rain and provide natural insulation, will be covered with solar panels which will generate a significant amount of the buildings electricity.
The new facilities were opened by the 2014.
