Seneca Meadows Landfill from an airplane
Unfortunately, there are landfills in the Finger Lakes Region. The largest and most visible one by far is Seneca Meadows in Waterloo. It is the largest landfill in New York State. There's also the Casella Landfill located on Route 5 and 20 between Canandaigua and Geneva.
