Tow Mater at the intersection of 14A, Wilson Road, and County Road 5

Hall is a hamlet located between Penn Yan, Geneva, and Canandaigua in Ontario County. It has its own zip code (14463), however, it is located in a gray area between the Town of Seneca and Town of Geneva. It is home to Seedway, Hall Fertilizer, Lakeland Equipment, Quackenbush Hardware, and the Hall Fire Department. Also in Hall is the Hall Diner, which is open for breakfast and lunch and, of course, coffee. Hall is located at the intersection of 14A, Post Road, and Wilson Road.

Hall was settled and cleared around 1800 and is shown on old maps as Hall's Corners. The Elmira and Canandaigua Railroad once ran through Hall. Towards Canandaigua, the right-of-way has been converted in Ontario Pathways, a rails to trails hiking path.

Dated[]

The Hall Fire Department has been planning on building a new fire house for two years due to the current one being small and out of date. A public meeting is going to be held on Tuesday, May 4, from 7 to 8:30 pm at which architect approved blueprints will be shown. A letter was sent out to taxpayers of the Hall area regarding this and inviting people to come to the meeting.
