The Pageant of Steam is an annual steam festival held in Hopewell, about three miles East of Canandaigua, on Gehan Road off 5 & 20. The Steam Pageant features steam engines, a nightly antique stock tractor pull, and one of the largest flea markets in New York State. The Steam Pageant has been held every year in August since 1960, and in 2010 it will be held from Wednesday, August 11 to Saturday, August 14.

Until 1971, when 28 acres were purchased on Gehan Road (it's current location) off State Route 5 and US 20 3 miles East of the City of Canandaigua, the event was held at various places, including the old site of Roseland Waterpark.
