Cohocton is a village of about 850 people in Steuben County, located in the Town of Cohocton northwest of Bath.

The village was once known as "Liberty," but changed it name to Cohocton when it was incorporated as a village in 1891. The Larrowe House, also known as The Cohocton Town and Village Hall, was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1989.
